Photo Artist Gloria Jelladian's creative fine art work combines her love for cars, photography, pets and people, and graphic art.
Gloria's digital fine art is created by photographing and then enhancing the photographs with graphic software.
"My love of cars started as a child. Several of my uncles were auto mechanics and they also restored old cars. And as young children, after Sunday lunch at Aunt Rose's, we cousins were told, 'You kids go out and play.' So while dashing out of the back door, we grabbed the keys to our favorite classic cars... usually the 1902 Nash and the Ford Model A."
Studying many styles of fine art in college and in private classes, 'Digital Photo Art' is Gloria's favorite way to express her creativity today.
Gloria refined her vibrant flair for color combinations while studying fine art oil painting and design with Carmel-by-the-Sea fine artist John Cunningham of the Carmel Art Institute. "In one month I had to mix 500 colors out of red, yellow, and blue before John would allow me to paint a landscape or a still life painting."
And many years of sculpting abstract Angels out of manzanita wood helped train her artistic eye in natural design and in organic flowing movement. Working as a TV Make-up Artist for many years sharpened her eye for beauty, detail, and balance.
"Sculpting Angels for many years was life changing in more ways than one! It advanced my communion and communication with my higher self and with spirit. I loved every second of it all! Pure joy in the journey."
